

If I could get away with killing someone on the first page of every book, I would. I'm a Chapter 3 kind of writer, which means I naturally start at Chapter 3. Kami: The beginning of a book is always the hardest part for me. Was any part of it difficult to write? Or was there a particular scene or character that took extra to write?

The challenge was defining their differences without being able to rely upon their physical appearance. Lukas is open and funny, which makes him seem more transparent, but he also has more than his share of secrets. Initially, Jared comes across as a tough loner, but he is fighting some serious personal demons. It's the definition of the expression: You can't judge a book by its cover. Kami: I love writing about the twins because even though they look alike, their personalities are completely different. Jessie: So twins, huh? What was that like to write? There is plenty of romance, suspense, and paranormal encounters as we learn more about the Legion, the demon hunting them, and what it will take to stop him. Kennedy then learns that her mother's death was not an accident, and now she has to take her mother's place in the Legion - a secret society of ghost hunters whose members were all murdered on the same night, leaving the Legion in the hands of the next generation. At first, she has no idea that paranormal forces are involved - but then hot identical twins, Lukas and Jared Lockhart, destroy a deadly spirit sent to kill her. Kennedy Waters is a regular girl who comes home one night and finds her mother dead. Kami: Unbreakable is the first book in my new paranormal romance/thriller series, the Legion. Jessie: Please tell us about Unbreakable and, of course, the hot boys in Legion! Kami: I'm so excited to be here (and that's really fun to write, because it makes me feel like I'm actually there).
